Hi Dobhar,
Thanks so much for helping me with this. Two quick questions and we'll start on this later today. In step 3, what are BIOS? And in step 7, how do I fine those files to delete? Will something pop up after I close the Cleaner program?
Thanks.

Good morning!
I had a successful run of PandaScan this morning. It must have been something with the AOL browser I was using last night that didn't allow the scan. Anyway, this morning I used the Yahoo browser and the scan showed: No viruses or other malicious software has been found!
Please let us know if we need to do anything else. Thanks so much for your help with this.

Sorry for the delay in answering some of your questions. I had to work late last night so I didn't have much time to work on some logs. Too many logs and so few helpers... :(
Anyways...
1) What is BIOS - Well the technical term is An acronym for basic input/output system, the built-in software that determines what a computer can do without accessing programs from a disk. On PCs, the BIOS contains all the code required to control the keyboard, display screen, disk drives, serial communications, and a number of miscellaneous functions. In simple terms it's part of a "Chip" that sits on the Motherboard of your computer. It stores information and some of that information is the stuff you see on your screen when you first turn on your computer. If you "Google" the word BIOS you will come up with quite a few hits.

2) How do I find those files to delete? - Useing Windows XP "Search" tool or using Windows Explorer go directly to the folder where the file is supposed to be IE: C:\Windows|System32. You would navigate to the folder in question then look for the file...making sure you have the "Hidden Files and Folders" showing.
3) Will something pop up - No
4) why didn't the reboot work for the blue screen? Is this anything to worry about? - First part...I'm not sure but you did right by manually rebooting. Second part...No
5) Please also let us know why McAfee allowed this to go through (we have a firewall and virus scan installed)- Not sure...probably from a IE advertising Pop Up => http://www.vitalsecurity.org/2005/07/winfixer-where-did-this-thing-come.html
Just becareful in what you click on...the "Nasties" are quite sneaky...

And now for the best part... :D
Congrats...Your log seems to be clean...:) Nice job!!!
I'm also posting my {All Clean} speech below. It has good information and some recommended tools (Recommended by all who deal with Spyware Nasties). Tools like SpywareBlaster => SpywareBlaster will added a large list of programs and sites into your Internet Explorer settings that will protect you from running and downloading known malicious programs. Definitley recommended.

The last thing I need you to do is to reset your "Hidden files and folders". System files are hidden for a reason and we don't want to have them openly available and susceptible to accidental deletion.
- Open "My Computer".
- Click on "Tools" and from the drop down menu select "Folder Options".
- Select the "View" tab.
- Under the Hidden files and folders heading UNSELECT "Show Hidden files and folders".
- CHECK the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option".
- Click "Yes" to confirm.
- Click "OK".
_____________________________________Now that you are clean, please follow these simple steps in order to keep your computer clean and secure:
Managing Windows Millenium System Restore or Windows XP System Restore Guide
Renable system restore with instructions from tutorial above
Virus, Spyware, and Malware Protection and Removal Resources
Understanding and Using Firewalls
Using Spybot - Search & Destroy to remove Spyware , Malware, and Hijackers
Using Ad-aware to remove Spyware, Malware, & Hijackers from Your Computer
Using SpywareBlaster to protect your computer from Spyware and Malware
Using IE-Spyad to enhance your privacy and security
Follow this list and your potential for being infected again will reduce dramatically.
Glad I was able to help
Take care and Safe surfing... :)
