and Save it to your desktop. Then close Internet Explorer andanything else you may have running and run hijackthis by doubleclicking on it. OK the warning then select Scan and Save log. When the notepad file comes click once on the text in the file and then Ctrl + a this will select the whole file. Ctrl + c to copy it. Now open Internet Explore, come back to the forum find your post and press the Reply button then click once inside the reply box and Ctrl + v to paste the text into the reply box. (Sometimes it helps to hit Enter after doing so.) Then press Submit Post. If you get an error just hit Submit Post a second time.

If it's a new computer and System Restore is still running then you should be able to restore it to the day you brought it home.
