wupdmgr.exe Trojan or Microsoft OS program?

Hello.

We just got a brand new system from Dell.  It was part of a system exchange.
We have a partitioned Harddrive
One has the new Windows XP Pro system
And the other partition has the entire hard drive of the Windows XP Home system.
I'm still in the process of learning WinXP Pro and setting it up.

I am not sure if I found a Microsoft Program or a worm:

The file is in three places:
C:\i386\wupdmgr.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wupdmgr.exe
Partitioned Drive:\WINDOWS\system32\wupdmgr.exe

Microsoft suggests that it is a valid program:
Microsoft.com link  (remove spaces): tinyurl . com / gn6d3

Another site is suggesting that it is the Trojan, WORM_SPYBOT.B
to read that information enter (remove spaces):  tinyurl . com / bs5zg

Don't know what to do with it.

Here is some more information about each file:

As I am new to Windows XP Pro (and XP for that matter), is it normal for file modifications to time travel?  (Check Created and Modified dates of the files to understand what I mean)

Please help.

BTW, how do I control the line spacing when typing a message on this forum? (I press enter and it carriage returns twice?)

MJ

C:\i386\wupdmgr.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wupdmgr.exe
Partitioned Drive:\WINDOWS\system32\wupdmgr.exe

Are all valid programs. They are part of the auto update function for Windows XP

As far as the partitioned drive, it is most likely a drive that at one time had 2 OS (operating systems )installed on it.
