VNXe 3150 Cannot Access / Trying Not Avoid Hard Reset
I have a VNXe 3150. After a reboot of both SP's we were unable to communicate with management interface. Cannot ping or login. We have tried using the reset button (which is supposed to make it discover-able by the setup utility so we can change PW and IP). No luck. We also have attached the serial cable. We can get a login prompt from the serial but neither the admin password, service account will work. Also tried using factory default login/password. No luck.
At this point EMC support is telling us we are SOL and will have to do a hard reset. I am not clear as to whether this will cause us to loose all the datastore configurations and, the data but I assume it will.
My ESX hosts can still communicate with the datastores via the storage interfaces, so the unit is "working" in some fashion, just no capability to access the management interface which means I can't replicate to my other SAN.
Any ideas????

Did you ever find a resolution to this. I am in the same boat with an old VNXE 3150. Thanks.
