The advertisement was in a full page ad in the March 01, 2021 Seattle Times. The offers were valid 3/1/2021 to 3/4/2021.  The Vostro 5000 Desktop was priced at $729 or 40% off list. Two ways to shop were given were Shop Dell.co/WorkFromHome or call 866-335-1661.  Dell.com had no such desktop nor did any other Dell Technology sites.  A long CHAT was to no avail. I was told that the Vostro 5880 was identical but the closest it could be configured was with an i7 processor and a 2 TB HD rather than a i5 and a 1 TB - at about twice the cost.  I was then told that the Vostro 5000 was not yet on sale and I would get an email as to when it would the next day. That email did not arrive.  So, I called the phone number. This number took me to tech support in what seemed to be another country.  I was sent back to sales in Texas.  I will cut this short - the result was exactly the same.
