Best to avoid KVR (Kingston Value RAM).  Its mostly been incompatible with Dell's.  

Actually best to replace both with new memory.  Mixing brands can also be a failure.  

For non-Dell branded memory, we suggest Crucial as its guaranteed to work in a Dell.
