Assistance Needed: Audio Issue Following BIOS Updates
I am writing to seek assistance with a persistent audio issue that has arisen following the installation of the last two BIOS updates on my Dell Vostro 14' 3400 laptop (2021 Model).
Since applying these BIOS updates, I have encountered an ongoing problem with crackling and distortion in the audio output of my laptop. This issue occurs consistently across both the Windows and Ubuntu operating systems. Moreover, I've noticed that the sound driver functions intermittently, often requiring multiple reboots of the laptop before it becomes operational. Notably, this issue persists upon a fresh boot, hindering immediate audio functionality.
Furthermore, I have observed that the crackling sound predominantly occurs when the laptop's fan starts working. This correlation suggests a potential link between the fan's operation and the audio distortion experienced.
As a dedicated Dell customer, I highly value the reliability and performance of your products, and I am confident that with your expertise and support, this issue can be resolved effectively. I kindly request your assistance in thoroughly investigating and addressing this audio issue. Additionally, I hope that future BIOS updates will include comprehensive fixes to ensure the seamless functionality of my Dell Vostro 3400.
I want to mention that Im using the Cirrus Logic High Definition Audio Driver.
Should you require any further information or diagnostic data to aid in troubleshooting this issue, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and eagerly await your guidance and support.
