Built-in microphone doesn't work

Hello, the built-in microphone of my Vostro 7510 doesn't work. I usually used a headset for my zoom calls and didn't noticed until I made a call without the headphones. System: Windows 11 intel core i7 16 GB RAM I tried the following without success: Update Windows Update all drivers Change some configurations (audio enhancement) Change privacy settings Here's a clip when recording with the built-in microphone. As you can see there's no movement in the wavelength. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i-sE7j-XnDhn4Kp9hcES5uVZpMXBp8V-/view?usp=sharing Here's a clip of another laptop (Dell Precision) and you can see the wavelength of a normal recording. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zmsK7EWQxhLiCWD22EpWRh7QVj4N7tiO/view?usp=sharing I'm afraid it's a hardware issue. Hope there's a software fix.

I also noticed, booting using a linux live usb, that the microphone works on the live environment (for me)
So I don't think it's a hardware related issue. Seems to be driver / windows related. The fix is probably possible through a driver update but the latest driver does not fix it. I tried to conpletely unistall it & reinstall with no success...
