Dell Vostro 5568

Hi All thanks for reading, strange issue with a Vostro 5568. The DC jack needed changing which I did and the battery was dead so no boot possible. had to wait a long time >7 days for part to arrive so system was stripped and powered off.

Fitted new CD cable etc and rebuilt, on connecting the mains power the system attempted to boot but no display was showing. Connected to ext monitor still no display LED flashing White x1 and Orange x3 continuously. Read a few posts suggesting CMOS and or RTC due to long time without power. I changed the CMOS battery, same result.

Swapped SSD to a test unit same result, swapped RAM boards and slots with known good from my other system still no display on internal or external monitor. Discharged power multiple times, removed and reseated CMOS numerous times and still no display.

Stripped system again to make sure no tangles screws trapped etc, all clear rebuilt and tested same result. Fan spins fast lights flash as above and no display. The strangest part is the the system was ok before this apart from not charging the battery.

Ive read forum posts about screen testing and nothing resolves the issue so any help suggestions would be most welcome.
