Is upgrading possible on my laptop?
Hello, I was thinking to upgrade my laptop but not sure if I am able to do it, so I would need the inputs for it..My model is vostro 15-3568
My current pc specs are..
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
Ram: 8gb
2 gb amd graphics
Battery designed capacity was 41440mWh, now the full charge capacity is 16798mWh.
So, is there any chances to upgrade the processor from 7th gen to next gen?? So that I would be able to use win 11 without any issue.
I'd like to know how much ram upgradation is possible with this model and also would appreciate the better ram suggestion if upgradation is possible.
And I definitely need to change the battery in coming days, but my doubt here is, is it possible to add more mWh battery, more than 41440mWh or should we get the same capacity one again?

There's no way to upgrade the CPU to a newer generation - - that would require a complete mainboard change, and in turn, there is no board that will fit your system that can take a newer CPU than your Kaby Lake 7th generation. Windows 11 may in fact run on your system as is - you will not have official support for it though.
If you want full Windows 11 support, you need a new system.
You can upgrade the RAM to 2X8 = 16 G max.
The existing 4 cell battery is the only option you have for this system.

Ah, I thought so about the cpu, anyway thanks for the clarification.
Can you suggest me the best 16gb ram and 4 cell battery which will be best for this system?
