order number not yet assigned

Hi Team,

Purchased a vostro 14 3491 office laptop on 1/september/2020, and have yet to receive any order number. Is this normal? I've seen many posts dating back a while about this same issue. On the order page it states "Order Number: Not yet assigned" and the progress bar is on "processing". While ordering , product was showing would be delivered by 7th to 9th September, but it seems even the order number is not yet assigned and would not be deliver to me at the committed timelines on DELL Portal.

How long does this take before being shipped?

Hi, have you got your laptop or is order is done. Because I have also ordered laptop but still no status.

Any longer than 48 hrs (business days) before receiving a confirmation and order number: there's a problem. Contact your financial institution to see if a charge has been placed/authorized, and to confirm payment terms.

I still can see the status is not moving and As per committed time by dell representative over private message, dell is not working updated. I can still see the product is manual hold. but team is even unsure about their turnaround time/ETA of completion of the delivery. Such a bad service i have seen so far.
