My Vostro 1500 will not let me on because of a password authentication system. How do I get passed this or a reset?

You must place a voice call to Dell support. Be prepared to verify your ownership details and have a credit card at hand to pay for the call, which is not free out of warranty.
If the system was purchased used, insist the seller unlock the system, or return it for a refund.
