power throttling due to low powered ac adapter
Vostro 3520
So i was researching why my cpu was clocking the frequencies down in load, and i found it to be the power limit throttling. i did try intel xtu , but still same problem persisted, after a while weeks of reasearching for the throttling. Today i found something intresting.
This indicates that the stock power adapter is not performing as needed. MY laptop is still under warrenty. only been 1 month. I would like to know what is the issue. My laptop stays under 65 so its not thermal issue.

Hey, did you manage to find a solution? I think I’m dealing with the same issue on my Latitude 3520. Whenever I run graphics intensive tasks, my CPU clock speed drops sharply. I checked with HWiNFO and it’s not thermal throttling, it’s actually hitting power limits. I don't know if I'm to buy a higher wattage power supply
