USB ports do not work after every shutdown

Problem Details

• USB ports do not work after every shutdown

• External mouse, keyboard, and pendrive are not detected

• USB ports work only after performing a BIOS factory reset

• Once the laptop is shut down again, the USB ports stop working again

• This issue occurs every single time

Actions Taken

• BIOS factory reset (temporary solution only)

• Tested external devices on other systems (they work fine)

• Visited an authorized Dell service center

Service Center Feedback

The service center informed me that:

The motherboard needs to be replaced

However, I have not replaced the motherboard yet.
