Vostro 3468 hanging on slightest activity
Hi All,
I have a vostro dell 3648,
i7 - 7th gen
8 GB Ram
500 HDD in my caddy of CDROM
128 GB adata SSD as main boot drive
I just installed a fresh windows 10 and when ever I do slightly heavy work, fans starts to run at full throttle and system just hangs; can't do anything expect for the power button shutdown.
By slightest I mean opening a youtube video etc.
what could be the issue here? how can I diagnose it? Kindly guide.

That sounds like a heat problem. Try cleaning the vents and pull the bottom cover, carefully, and gently clean out the fan and other components.

done that already. fan doesn't start always. sometime they does sometime doesn't.

@JanGli Have you tried running diagnostics (F12 immediately at boot) as there may be problems with the fan and that would certainly cause heat issues.
