Vostro 5568 Missing TPM Device Error
Vostro 15 5568
Vostro 5568 with latest BIOS: TPM Device missing error right after POST
It seems like this issue is just ignored by Dell.
Either the laptop never had a TPM device and the BIOS requires it, or the device is malfunctioning and the BIOS expects it to function.
After hitting Continue everything carries on as normal, so I don't require a TPM, so I would like to bypass/ignore the void left by the TPM Device.
Is there no way to bypass/ignore automatically so that I don't have to hit Continue every time the laptop starts up?

Did you make any changes before this occurred? Are you running Windows 11? Have you updated the BIOS lately? The BIOS of the 5568 does not have any options for enabling/disabling TPM or likewise for enabling or disabling PTT.
This forum post would seem to indicate this is a problem experienced by a number of users.

This started somewhere in 2020, probably with a bios update. This was while I had support but soon it expired so dell just gave me the finger after that.
Running Win10.
Updated the bios to latest version today hoping that the problem was addressed by Dell but this is not the case.
As you said, no option to enable or disable in the bios... Which is annoying.
I read through a bunch of threads with the same problem and everyone had to downgrade their bios but it only allows to downgrade to a certain point where the problem already started.
