Vostro 7500, upgrade to Windows 11

Before anyone can assist, you need to post again listing the specific Dell Laptop model and currently installed CPU.

The only Inspirons with upgradeable CPUs will be older than ten years -- anything made inside the last decade cannot be upgraded.  If you want Windows 11, you need a new system.

I have a Vostro 7500.

Can this be upgraded to Windows 11?

It has not yet happened automatically even though it is set for auto updates. My own research suggests it should be OK and possible to update it.

Yes. I do see Windows 11 on the Vostro 15 7500 Drivers & Downloads page.

@DELL-Chris M​ Hi Chris, I've checked and when logged in as me with my laptop identifiued by service tag, there is no Windows 11 download option.  Are you able to send me a link to the appropriate download? Lots of other downloads come up which do not come up when I scan on the updates in my laptop settings, but not Windows 11.  Thank you

I do not have such a link. That is controlled by Windows Updates from Microsoft.

Click Start
Type Chec
Click "Check for updates"

If Microsoft then does not offer Windows 11, no idea.
