Each VPLEX Cluster should see only 3 volumes from the "other" array: Meta Volume, Meta Volume Backup and Logging Volume. Make sure you make the "local" LUN the first member of the Meta Volume.
Hey, sorry to revive an old thread, but have a similar question but regarding logging volumes. Can this method of using a remote volume from other also be used as a leg for the logging volume? I think SteveK821 what you're saying is you do use it for logging as well, hence making the logging volume mirrored over "2 arrays"
Thanks Josh, is there any documentation regarding doing it this way? I see that best practice is to mirror logging volumes over 2 arrays, but since we have 1 array at each site this was not done and it is mirrored on just one array. If this is a supported configuration?
