Latitudes e6400 and Windows 10
Will Dell be adding support for Windows 10 to the e6400s Latitude series laptops? As of right now Windows 10 is not listed as a compatible operating system for my computer so, I have no bluetooth capabilities.

I wouldn't advise turning off automatic updates.
I simply downloaded and installed GWX to deal with the unwanted Windows 10 nags.

Hi, I have just upgraded 3 x E6400 laptops from Win7 64 bit to Win 10 64bit OS. Firstly Microsoft have provided drivers for Bluetooth in a round about way. Firstly Win 10 told me the Win 7 Dell drivers wouldn't work. I went to the Lenovo drivers support.lenovo.com/.../ds031999 and downloaded them. I then uninstalled the original drivers via control panel, uninstall programs then ran the Lenovo install. It stops the install just before it completes then I turn off Bluetooth & wifi with the hardware switch and turn it back on and the Microsoft drivers load and I can then connect to my Bluetooth sound bar. Further one e6400 had nor indication of wifi or Bluetooth even though cards were in place. I took the cards out, remounted them, still no joy. I then went into the bios and found that the previous owner had turned off the option for these to start via the switch. Fixed that and now have both wifi & Bluetooth. Hope this helps.

Hello everybody,
After long searching on Internet and try and error, I found out the Dell Bluetooth we can download
from support page works on Windows 10.
Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Minicard, v.6.2.0.8500, A14
The main problem is when we run setup.exe under Windows 10, we get the error message said this app can't run under Windows 10 and setup terminated.
I found out that I can manual install the driver by the .inf without errors! But by only installing all .inf will not make Bluetooth working without other files. So I try to run other .exe files one by one to see if I get any luck.
And here we go, by running the inst.exe, the installshield starts and installs everything it needs just like under Windows 7 without any issue!
My E6400 Bluetooth is working under Windows 10 now.
Hope this can help.
PS: I have tried to install the Lenovo driver but its not working for me.

There is NEVER a reason to use Lenovo software on any E6400.
All the drivers are in a cab file that can be extracted to the my documents folder. using 7zip
