Hi All
I have this situation I have a Dimension 9200 e6600 Processor XP pro OS Bios version 1.0.3.
Windows ran an auto update and now i get the following message
config\system is corrupt please use re-installation disk and press r to repair
I run the disk and i then get when the disk is still loading up the error code on a blue screen.
0x0000007b (0xf78d663c
the disk i have is a XP pro service pack 2 disk i have tried to change RAM and i have tried a different brand new hard drive the message still appears i have also replaced the motherboard battery. and i still get the same messages.
I also notice the Bios is old can anyone tell me if this could be the cause if so can I update the Bios without XP working?
Thanks for reading
