16 bit windows subsystem error message

Recently I received an error message while trying to open a non exp program although I had not had this problem in the past. The message is as follows: (16 bit Windows Subsystem), The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. cs; cf4aip;0111op;dfe6ed 08 0d, Choose "close" to terminate this application or Choose "ignore". I can choose either and the program will not open. I also have the same error message when trying to access my service tag number through Dell accessories. Can anyone help me out there?????????????????
