A little off topic strange problem 2350
I posted here because I couldn't find a board that might encompass this problem. My son has a 2350. One day I was going to check/change video settings and when I right clicked on desktop I get "Windows Explorer has experienced a problem and needs to shut down" Then it shuts down and restarts Windows Explorer. I tried to "send error report" but can't because Windows Explorer shuts down thereby closing error reporting. I did a search on all over Windows site and the only thing I could come up with is to install SP2 which I have not done yet. I was waiting till I could upgrade the memory to get SP2 on this machine. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Some additional suggestions:
Do an online scan. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ ; allow the download.
Check your Device Manager for coloured markings. (To access the DM, from the Run box, enter this command: devmgmt.msc). Note: Once you get this problem cleared up, I would install the latest driver for your video card, found wither at Dell site or manufacturer. Ask if you need help on this.
Also run this command and post back any 'negative' remarks: dxdiag
If you decide to run the System File Checker (probably a good idea to do before the SP2 install), simpswr switchedup on the slashes; the command should be entered:
sfc /scannow
