Phone or not, you can obviously get on-line & I'm pretty "shur" you can find the answers to all your questions among the Support section's documents -or- by seeking individual answers here.  You will likely find email is unable to provide the solution(s) you need...

It may not help, but see if the procedure here allows the installation to identify the presence of hard drives in your system.

If you had 64-bit Windows on the computer it would accommodate 8GB of RAM but since you don't (and since 64-bit Windows is not offered as an option on that system by Dell) youi are limited to 2GB.
