Accessing data on encrypted SSD after laptop damage

Hello, I’m a little distressed and hoping for some really good advice from the community. Yesterday, I dropped something on my laptop keyboard (Dell XPS 9300) and damaged it. I don’t know what is damaged but it will not power up and there are lights flashing at the front (repeating sequence: 2 amber/4 white).

I was advised to remove the hard drive (SSD) and try to read it directly. I have removed it and it appears undamaged externally at least. An NVMe adapter is ordered for arrival tomorrow. I have both the 8 character Key Id and the 48 digit Recovery Key from my MS account.

Please would someone advise me what to do next and which of the two key numbers I need? Thank you
