Accidentally deleted files from System32/Drivers folder and then: ERROR "0x0000007B " - and now??

Hi,

I accidentally deleted 2 files from the C:/Windows/System32/Drivers. Then I restarted my desktop and suddendly, the display with Safe Modes appeared (black display) . I tried to start Windows under all options (Last config, Safe Mode, Safe Mode w/C prompt, etc) and I cannot access to the Windows initial display. After restarting my Desktop several times, still the same two displays (the "safe mode" and the "blue error display". This last one shows: STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7C38528, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

What options do I have to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help,

mx

Call to the 1-888-242-0957 and pay $99+tax for a 1-incident service contract and spend an additional 6 hours of your life backing up and re-installing everything because only "2" files were deleted....amazing what 2 f**** files can do for you right?

You should have been able to boot from the XP CD and do a Repair Reinstall to replace whatever system files you deleted. You wouldn't have lost all your personal files and settings, though it's always a good idea to back them up. And the only things that would have needed reinstallation would have been the XP updates and hotfixes from Microsoft.
