Acronis 11 problems need help!!!

I installed acronis 11 and updated it to most recent updates... everything seemed ok but now I'm getting ramdom errors with other programs and twice now my PC seems to shut off?  the light to the PC is still on but the monitor goes blank

I have to hard power down and restart do you know what could be going on?  should I uninstall acronis??? help!!!!
