Active X
OK, in the past week I've had a real annoying problem. When ever we go to a web site that requires Active X a window pops up that says " Click to run an ActiveX control on this web page". When we click OK Internet Explorer shuts down. I've done virus scans and spyware scans and the computer seems to be clean. How in gods name can I fix this issue?

Lots of problems that have suddenly appeared in the last couple of weeks are due to conflicts with the most recent Windows update and other software that may be running on your computer. See if the following applies to your situation:
