add/remove programs

Question

How do i remove a program from my CPU?   When i go to add/remove programs it does not remove.   HELP PLEASE

Ummmmm....The Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, at that link does NOT remove any software from your PC. It only removes the log files that were created when you installed a software package. And by removing the log files, you can no longer use Add/Remove to remove that application. So doing what NoLo813 suggests is exactly OPPOSITE to what you want to do.

What software are you trying to remove? Why? And why do you say it won't uninstall? Please be as specfic as possible, and include your version of Windows.

I was advised to reinstall the program over the old install, then remove with add remove.
