Rookie50,

Nearly all word processing programs offer address label printing as a feature under Mail Merge.

I see no experts have answered yet, so... I'm not an expert but I accomplished making my own address labels. You can start by buying a pack Avery # 18167 Mailing Label Sheets, at any office supply or Wal-Mart, etc. Included in MS Word is a template especially for this Avery product.
Open a new Word document and print out your name and address as you want it to appear. Then drop down the "Tools" menu, to "Letters & Mailings" (Word 2003) and/or "Envelopes & Labels" (Word 97). Click the "Labels" tab. Click "Options". Set "Label Products" on "Avery Standard", then below it scroll down until you find "8167 - Return Address". Click OK, make sure you have selected "Full page of the same label", then "Print".
You will see there are other options for brands besides Avery.

Sorry Denny. You answered before I posted!

There's obviously more than one way to get to printing labels.

Denny,

Thank you for a very quick reply. How do you go to Mail Merge? Like the name implies, I'm a fifty two year old computer rookie so I need all the help that I can get. Thanks!
