Admin Password Lost

When installing an Intuit product I received a message stating I did not have sufficient rights to install software. Then, I changed my personal user name from administrator to power user. Now I can not change myself back to an administrator. As well, I have lost my administrator login password. Is there a way to return my personal login to administrator rights or retrieve the admin password?

go download " ebcd " also known as Emergency Boot CD burn the iso to a cd and boot off the cd and use the Windows NT password utility. i use this cd for many diagnostics but it is a very strong tool to remove or change windows 2000 and XP accounts + passwords.
