The best thing to do would be to uninstall Adobe and reinstall. Don't forget to remove the old Adobe program folder before installing. This folder is usually located at C\ Program files\Adobe

No, I have even tried to go into the Adobe program on my computer and request an automatic repair. Still no luck. Everytime I try my computer freezes and I lose my internet connection.

I am getting the same problem. What I see is 100% cpu utilization
when Adobe Reader/Acrobat starts up and just hangs. I have
to bring up task manager to kill it. I cannot ready an
pdf files.

I tried reinstalling Reader 6 and 7 after taking out both and
no help. Something in the registry perhaps?
