I don't know if I have admin rights. Tried to see but couldn't.
I used the uninstall tool several times.
Also downloaded several times and tried to get working. It says all is installed and seen the short so called movie.
Did not want the tool bar so checked that.
Also keeps telling me I don't have the latest version when I hit the icon in file folder to install. This is always after I downloaded the latest version.
I did use the sites you have here.
I have been trying this for 3 hours now. Getting pretty frustrated.
Still when I look at flashplayer in add remove-there is no number to tell how big the file is.
When I look in the flashplayer file, all i see is AssetCache then VR5ZMKWR thats it.
And it says all is installed . So I am so lost right now.
I want to Thank everyone for being so helpfull. Sure appreciated it. I finally have it installed and can enjoy my games. Thanks again !!: I hope it is awhile before I have to come back here again. LOL.

Does your user account have admin rights?
Try using the uninstall tool from
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=1
Then go to
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BUIGP
To install (uncheck google toolbar if you don't want it).

Concur with software knowledge-You need to know your limits.
START/Control Panel/User Account/ shows who has what level of authority.
if you have ADMIN, the DE-SELECT User Access Control REQIRES RESTART
After restart, uninstall ALL ADOBE applications, either through CONTROL PANEL or the ADOBE Uninstaller.
RESTART AGAIN
**USE NO OTHER WEB SITES OTHER THAN ADOBE WHILE USER ACCESS IS OFF**
D/L AND run all necessary ADOBE applications and give each one a test runs
in the ADOBE Media center, check and watch any video application.
Re-engage USER ACCOUNT CONTROL
RESTART
Go to town!!! Let us know
