adobe reader
When I click on a pdf file link on a website, I briefly get a new page open to show the pdf file but then it all disappears within seconds. Sometimes when I've had this situation I am unable to right-click on the link in order to get a 'save or save target as' choice; but not this time. Therefore, what's the problem? Is it my computer or the website?

Could be either: if you are willing to post the link and indicate which pdf file you are having problem with, I could check it out.
You could also check in Adobe reader, edit menu, preferences, internet, that all the boxes are ticked.
What version of Adobe reader, and what browser (and version) do you use?
