Advanced System Optimizer

Question

I downloaded the trial version of Advanced System Optimizer and then un-installed when the trial ran out. Now I have an Advanced System Optimizer folder in my program files folder that I can't delete. Any help appreciated. Message Edited by texastacoma on 03-22-2005 06:11 PM

Try deleting it from Safe Mode.

Thanks for the response.  I tried that and got the following message......... Cannot delete shellext.dll  Access denied......................

Most files that cannot be removed under Windows can be removed by using a bootable copy of Linux.

Once in Linux then delete the file and it will be gone.
