Alienware M17X & Windows 7 Upgrade Program.

So I bought an Alienware M17X on June 25th, 2009. As many of you should be aware the upgrade program starts on the 26th of June. Now this becomes problematic because I don't want to go spend $200+ to upgrade my system when really one days difference shouldn't mean I cannot be eligible for this upgrade.
Do you think I should cancel my order, go through the stress of ordering the same system, just to become eligible for the upgrade?
Or is it possible that Dell might pull some strings for the unlucky ones who purchased the system one day before the upgrade program?
