Backup????
I followed instructions on how to install the backup utility in my computer using the Windows XP CD. I did it correctly, it's in my computer in the accessories section. But when I tried to do a backup to CDs this morning I was not allowed to. A message kept popping up telling me to make sure I have a (valid path).
So, someone please tell me how do I find out about this valid path thing.
I want to do a backup before I attempt to install sp2 again. I don't want to get stuck again with the problems I had before.
Please let me know how I can successfully use the backup utility.

The XP Backup program will not write directly to a cd . . you can save the backup to a file on your pc, then write that file to cd.
