Check in add/remove,check box "show updates" to determine which update is the culprit and we can take it from there.

I recently updated windows and was unable to open IE6.

May also be a hardware issue.

"as of right now everything is working good but well see what happens. do u think i should also remove the windows updates that i did"?

Well,if there are no problems I would leave it alone.

I will not install IE7,and use IE6 for updates and use firefox as my primary browser.

Seems like you solved it by removing IE7

When you say "bad_pool_caller blue again",do you mean "BSOD",blue screen?

Not "DSOB" BSOF stands for blue screen of death, meaning that all you get is a blue screen.

Could be a hardware issue, such as RAM.
