BIOS or Chip Set Error ??

I have a Dell Dimension 8100 ST-32Q9L01 that came with Win ME. I reformatted the drive and did a clean install to Win XP sp2 with all security updates. I flashed the Bios to XP2 from Dell

I an unknown device is popping up in the Device Mgr. It says the location is on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System. When I pull up the details, this is what it shows:

Device Instance id - ACPI\MGMT180\2&DABA3FF&0
Hardware id - ACPI\MGMT180
                       *MGMT180

I think this might be related to the chipset ??
Anybody have any ideas ??

The problem you are encountering is related to the E-Support button that your system has and is no longer support under Windows XP.  Normally, flashing the BIOS to version XP2 will correct the problem, but it rare cases you will need to use a third party utility to get rid of the problem.  Click here for another forum discussion regarding the problem and follow the link to Metolious.zip.
