Bios upgrade and Windows XP
I recently upgraded my Latitude CPI-A from Windows 2000 to XP. I am still using the same bios, version 5. In the last 60 days I have had problems with two new batteries charging. The first did not go above 38%, I exchanged for another. The second one was fine for 3 weeks and now won't go above 5%. When I unplug the power cord and plug it back in, the charge light only stays on for 5 seconds. I am now having mouse and touchpad problems. Do I need to upgrade my bios and to what version?

You would probably get a better response to your question if you asked it the Latitude - BIOS forum instead of the Operating System Tune-ups forum.
