Did a Google search and it seems that ltmdmxp.sys is a driver associated with the Lt winmodem. (Was Lucent Technologies, now Agere Systems supports the Generic driver). Did you recently update your drivers for this modem? Not sure what operating system you have but if you have Windows XP you can use the Rollback function and install a previous driver. If you didn't install a new driver recently, you might try and download the latest driver for the LTwinmodem and install it and see if it helps. Not sure which brand of modem you have. Many companies use the Lucent Chipset. If it's a Dell computer you can go to your particular systems model support page and look for the driver there. If it isn't, you can go to www.agere.com and download the latest generic driver from there.
Forgot to add the modem is a Win Lucent, operator system is Windows XP all bought from Dell. There as been no changes to my PC other then the up-dates, no new driver's or hardware as been installed.
Thanks for the comments my wife up-dated the Win Lucent Driver seems to be working at the moment with no blue screen shut down, I will keep you all posted as I plan on being on the PC most of today.
