BLUE SCREEN, will not boot after windows XP screen

Turned on computer then it shut off to a Blue screen with the message:
stop :c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum} The image lz32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computer checksum.

When I reboot I get the Dell screen with the F2 setup & F12 Boot option then it goes to the Windows XP screen then shuts off and goes to a blue screen with the above message.
HELP!!!!

I tried the last know conf. and got the same thing. How do I boot from the disc. Just put the disc in at the blue screen?

Boot to the boot menu (F8) and try "Last Known Good Configuration". If that does not work, try booting to the XP disc and run the recovery console.

I reloaded windows and did a repair and it worked. Thanks. It took -3- times to read the disc don't know why but one thing I did not like was when I called Dell support to try and find out why it wasn't reading the disc and they wanted to charge me $250.00 just to be connected to a Dell Tech. That was a load of @#$% when I have a problem with software that was purchased and sent to me with the computer.
