Bluescreen showing problem with bcmw16.sys

Hi,

Inspiron 530 with Vista Home Edition, brand new machine. It crashed with blue screen very frequently, with following message,

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:    BlueScreen
  OS Version:    6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3
  Locale ID:    2057

Additional information about the problem:
  BCCode:    d1
  BCP1:    1522000C
  BCP2:    00000002
  BCP3:    00000000
  BCP4:    8E666413
  OS Version:    6_0_6001
  Service Pack:    1_0
  Product:    768_1

Dump analysis points the finger to bcmw16.sys, which is a broadcom 802.11g wireless adaptor driver.

Tried several version drivers I can find via internet, even including latest broadcom v.4.170.77.3. Basically, they didn't solve the problem. An old version driver 4.102.15.61 provided by HP website works a bit better, which makes the crash frequency lower a bit.

Any clue?

Many thanks?

With a new PC, it's best to call Dell support.  If there is a hardware problem only Dell support can get it corrected.
