Bluetooth recognition

I have an Inspiron 9300 with windows XP pro with service pack 2 installed. I also have a Canon Pixma iP90 printer and a BU-10 bluetooth adaptor. Windows does not locate my printer. I also have a Bluetake bluetooth dongle. The Bluetake can discover the printer, but windows does not. What am I doing wrong? I followed the unstructions on the Canon bluetooth page but windows does not find it.Thanks for any help I can get.

I don`t know if this will help or not, but it is similar to the problem I had with Bluetooth. The discussion is about Belkin Bluetooth but it could apply to others as well as it seems to be more of an SP2 driver problem
 
It won`t hurt to try as it is just making sure you have the correct driver installed.
