Boot Loader, Restore XP, not working, need to get original boot loader
i like Linux, and XP so the other day i tried to get Ubuntu 8.04, and XP MC 2005 to dual boot. i installed Ubuntu and GRUB boot loader. GRUB failed Ubuntu was sucessful, only XP would boot, so i messed around with the next install and changed the partition where GRUB would be installed, to the HDD in general, GRUB worked but only XP booted. i tried again and changed it to the Ubuntu parition, GRUB worked, Ubuntu Worked, XP did not, and not only that but it curropted the XP NTSF partition, and it had to be reformatted :smileysad: i reformatted the whole HDD leaving the Dell utility partition, and Symantic restore partition, and blank NTSF space for XP. but GRUB would not go away no matter what, so i am stuk with non-working grub, and unable to Ctl + F11, and restore XP.
??? can i get the origional boot loader back and re-install XP
???
