bootable cd with usb support
hi
i have a non-legacy 9100 with a mouse and a ketboard on usb, i would like to make a boot disc on a cd that supports only the usb ports.
the computer crashed because of the iastor.sys file and i would like to update that driver so i need a bootable disc.
1) how do you make a bootable cd with only usb support?
2) am i on the right track about updating the driver? both dell and intel have a new driver, the intel one is quite a bit newer. which one should i use?
this is a know dell problem though they refuse to acknowledge it before your computer crashes. the level 1 support is so lame and haven't a clue about pc's or how to fix problems. maybe the dell community can help.
please feel free to email me directly with any suggestion to fix my computer
jkmail06@verizon.
thanks
john
