Boot/Diagnostic Disks

I have a latitude CPX-H that needs to have the system/diagnostic software re-installed.  Unfortunately, the original disks can not be located.  After numerous calls to Dell Tech support and Dell Sales and being redirected between the two, with no solution, I'm asking if anyone knows where I can obtain copies of the original system/diagnostic disks?

Thanks,  Kat

Kclerm:

You may need to contact spare part department, but first you need a part number for it, so you can get it from Tech Support Department

Thanks, the last reply I got from dell is that they don't make this disk anymore.  I find that response....interesting.  I did locate the disk on ebay though.

Thanks, Kat

Exactly for what do you need it, if you have access to all files on their support site.

I need the cd to run diagnostics.  My system will not (or is very difficult to) boot from floppies.  I've tried downloading the resource info from the site and burning to cd but always get some error.  The cd is less hassle.
