Sounds as though you did the installation over the previous installation of Windows. Your problem is that you have a trojan horse or other spyware that has not been completely cleaned out. You should back everything up, format the drive and reinstall onto a clean drive.
I had to reinstall Windows ME on my Inspiron 5000e because of an "error loading explorere.exe" problem. Now I'm getting this error message that it cannot find "bsupffsd.vxd". I click OK and things seem to run okay, but it appears on every bootup. Any ideas how I can clear this up?
