Brightness not working

Hello I have a windows 11 dell laptop and just recently got it over the summer. For the past few days I havent been able to adjust my brightness setting and im not sure how. I would check my settings and follow some instructions but im not sure if i'm missing something or doing something wrong. Whenever I try to turn on my night light as well it doesnt work. I would turn it on but nothing would change. 

Please help me :(

I understand that you are having trouble adjusting the brightness and turning on the night light on your Dell laptop. Let me help you with that.

Here are some things you can try:

  1. Update the display driver: The display driver may be outdated or corrupt. To update the display driver, go to the website of the Dell support and download the latest driver for your laptop.
  2. Reset the lapIf it fails, you can try resetting the laptop. To do this, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds until the laptop turns off. Then, turn on the laptop again.

If you have tried above things and the brightness is still not working, you may need to contact Dell support for further assistance.
