Bug using Bypass proxy server of the QuickSet Location profiler

There seems to be a bug when using the Location profiler to set the bypass proxy server list.

Using the Location profiler of the Dell QuickSet one can change the proxy server settings of Internet Explorer and Firefox. One of these settins is the "Bypass proxy server for:" list, where proxy exemptions are listed. However, there seems to be a bug here. Seemingly the list will be set ok, but when trying to access one of the servers in the list, Internet Explorer doesnt use the exemption list. The result is that the server is inaccessible. However if one opens the bypass list and just clicks the "OK" button, *without having to change anything*, then everything worsk as intended.

So problem is solved by opening proxy settings in IE and simply clicking "OK" without changing anyting. However, this is very tedious. The problem only applies to Internet Explorer. It works fine in Firefox.

Could someone at Dell fix this?

I had been experiencing same problem on my Latitude D630 with location profiler. Once I click OK on Tools >> Internet Options >> Connections >> LAN Settings it takes proxy settings. This is really painful.

I am experiencing the same problem.   Looks like this was posted 888 days back and no one has come out with a resolution.    Is Dell doing anything about this?
