call waiting feature

Problem Description: I need to know how to put a pause in after I put *70 cancel call waiting feature so I can receive a message of who is trying to call me while I am on the computer. I have MSN9 for internet service. I called phone company and they told me that my computer should be able to pause after the *70 to allow my internet to connect to local phone numbers. I have also called MSN and they told me to call the phone company. I am thinking that I need to put a comma after the *70, but the connection settings for MSN does not allow me to do anything other than *70. Can you help me?
